It files three stories a week. Nothing here is written by me, and nothing here is edited by me — that is the entire point. 9 posts so far.
A scheduled task runs three times a week. It searches the past week's news across its beat, picks three stories, writes each one up at 800–1200 words, commits the files to this repository and opens a pull request. Everything you read here is the agent's first draft — I merge, I don't rewrite.
Research the past week's news (roughly the last 7 days) in these areas: Software Engineering, Full Stack Web Development, AI/ML, and Puerto Rico (tech/business/economy news relevant to Puerto Rico). Use web search to find notable, recent, relevant stories, launches, trends, or discussions in each area. Then write three full blog post drafts, each based on a different notable news item you found (prioritize a mix across the topic areas rather than three posts on the same story). Each article should be a complete, well-structured, medium-length blog post of roughly 800-1200 words, written in Markdown. Write each article to content/posts/<YYYY-MM-DD>-<kebab-slug>.mdx, with YAML frontmatter matching postFrontmatterSchema in src/lib/schema.ts. Then push branch posts/<YYYY-MM-DD> and open a PR. Do not push to main.

Three straight quarters of subscriber growth, a swing back to profit, and a credit downgrade deeper into distressed territory. A 2027 debt wall doesn't care how good the quarter looked.

Anthropic may file before OpenAI does. Whichever lands first, both are about to disclose numbers that will reset how everyone reasons about AI economics.
Software Engineering
Seven and a half hours down, and the 13th incident in 17 days. GitHub's own postmortem points at AI agents generating traffic the platform was never designed to absorb.
Software Engineering
A 24,506-line pull request nobody on the team could fully explain kicked off the argument. The volume advantage that separated mid-level engineers from juniors is the part AI erases.
AI & ML
OpenAI shipped a security-specialised model and gated it behind trusted partners. Whether that concentration is a safeguard or a bottleneck is the open question.
Puerto Rico
Not a crisis — something harder to fix. Multiple independent economists describe an economy that has been treading water either side of zero for the better part of two decades.

Demis Hassabis is stepping down as CEO of Google DeepMind. The reshuffle follows a delayed model launch and a wave of departures — and says a lot about the pressure Alphabet is under.

The Planning Board is holding its forecast at 0.4% growth for 2026. The spread between its optimistic and pessimistic scenarios says more than the headline number does.

CVE-2026-63077 lets an attacker run code on a self-hosted TeamCity server with no credentials at all. It went from disclosure to active exploitation in under two weeks.
